The Avi's new expanded casino floor space includes the new bar, Whispers, a race and Sports book area with eight individual, interactive wagering kiosks, featuring cutting edge technology, a 7 Table, non-smoking Poker room, Cage and 310 of the latest, greatest, brand new slot and video poker machines.
Whispers will function as a quiet lounge area. The new poker room features multifunction plasma screens which will display tournament information and timers.
The new Banquet and Convention center is 11,000 square feet. It has a pre-function area, a business center to cater to professionals and meeting planners, a state of the art entertainment stage and offers the flexibility of dividing into six separate breakout rooms. Each room is equipped with its own multimedia and audio visual capacity. With its own dedicated banquet kitchen and catering staff, The convention center can accommodate a range of groups as small as thirty and as large as 900 people for a seated dinner. the new Banquet and Convention center's premier event will occur on October 12th, when the Avi hosts the 18th annual United Way Chefs Fest.
